Forum: GratefulDead Subject: Operator - please contact me

I have some news you may (or may not) want to hear. Briefly, there are users here who are secretly sharing Grateful Dead soundboards. This activity runs counter to the wishes of the band, as well as the rules of the site. I know who they are, and what they are illegally trading. Nobody likes a tattle tale, however, from what I am seen there is a ton of illegal trading going on and this might put the whole site in jeopardy of being shut down. That would be unfair to the thousands of people who do adhere to the rules of the site.

Yeah, big secret. Excellent sleuthing! How did you figure it out?

Was it the 4M posts which ask, "Do you need that one? I can send it to you. Here's my email: secretGDfiles@musictheif.com".

It's just a matter of time before you disappear from this place. Perhaps you might log-in during the wee-wee hours to erase the evidence of your disorder.

what is life like when you do not stand up for anything? let me guess - you are so afraid of your cyber-buddies and need their reaffirmations that everything you write must be just so positive.

At least make a point. seriously

HA! Grow a beard kiddo.
It all depends on what you want to stand up against, dude. Your case is weak and whinny. If you had spent ANY time here you would have seen my ass kicked on several occasions. Some times I was right and other times I was wrong or just plain being a dick. Life is just like that...standing up for something is not my weak spot.

Never did I sink your level of whine. I go my ass kicked, stood up and made my point, cut right though the "Fools". Your a pathetic child wannabe tattle tale with no where to go and no legs to stand on...
Go to your room, don't come out till you can see you errors.

er
far from whining. if you read the threads, you will see that 1) i own everything the dead has ever played. ever show i own. if you pulled your head out of your ass you might understand something
2) you are just a moron. probably in ever facet of your life. from taking a piss down to your communication here, you are just a putz. any questions?

o.k.
jrosie. There is a great book you should read. It's called

"I'm O.k., your o.k."

http://www.amazon.com/Im-OK-Youre-OK-Thomas-Harris/dp/038000772X

Secondly, how many tabs did you take? Don't worry you will eventually come down! While you are in this state it's better NOT to type or communicate on the Internets. If you are really freaking out put on some Almond Brothers album and practice breathing. This to shall pass.

Thirdly, You got me, my life sucks....the job the money it's a burden...seriously. You should hear the dudes I work with....pricks most of them.

Fourthly, yes your whinny, very very whinny... I'm not asking you I'm telling you.

Fifthly, you don't own everything the dead every played, at best you own a copy of all the commercial releases. With that being the case your stupidity amazes more even more....you are not very good with computers are you?
No I don't mean that you could have DL'ed most of those, it's good to support Bobby, he needs new pants!

sixthly, sometime taking a piss and having a "conversation" here amount to the same thing....

Seventh, yes just like shooting fish in a barrel...

Oh by the way, by definition a final judgement is not open to appeal. You are so not going to do well in the legal profession.

you are, out of all the people i have met in here, a true idiot. and so wrong on the law.

"Orders and judgments of trial courts may be divided into two categories for the purposes of appeal: final and interlocutory. A final judgment is one that brings an end to litigation and leaves nothing but the execution of the judgment."

Did the Encyclopedia Britannica get it wrong then?

Operator, can you help me, help me if you please.
Give me the right area code and the number that I need.
My rider left upon the Midnight Flyer,
Singin' like a summer breeze.

I think she's somewhere down South, down about Baton Rouge,
But I just can't remember no number, a number I can use.
Directory don't have it, central done forgot it,
I've gotta find a number to use.

Trying to check out her number, trying to run down her line.
Operator said that's priv'ledged information,
And it ain't no business of mine.
It's floodin' down in Texas, poles are out in Utah,
Gotta find a private line.

She could be hangin' 'round the steel mill,
Working in a house of blue lights.
Riding a getaway bus out of Portland, talking to the night.
I don't know where she's going, I don't care where she's been,
Long as she's doin' it right. Long as she's doin' it right

Man, ain't that the truth. How many phonebooks do I need ? I now have the white pages, the yellow pages, The Green book, (my local white pages), and now there is a competitor to yellow pages, called "yellowbook". Then multiply that by regions, which there for me is 3. It's enough to make you plant trees evry year just to counter what they send me through the mail. Can you imagine phonebook day for your local mail carrier? Sorry for the tangent..

No better way to start another grateful day , than to start it with the album that started it all for me, thanks.

Careful SDH, you might be dealing with one of Clinton's 'unhinged'. I'll get to your TDIH recommendation shortly, for now I'm listening to an illegal copy of Hendrix at Berkeley C. T. from 30th MAy 1970. Now that is a red rag to a bull - you know how fast the Hendrix 'family' come down on any material not authorised by them, right ?
